Love is in the air...

Literally!  

Last month during one of our Building Leadership Team meetings the question was raised "Can we do something to spruce up the staff lounge?" Well, as you know, public schools aren't made of money, and the staff lounge is pretty much just a place to scarf down your lunch and touch base with co-workers.  So when I saw these Valentine streamers from VIPITH I just had to have them! 

They came yesterday and I couldn't wait one more day until February to put them up in our school staff lounge.

Everyone that came in loved seeing them, and there were PLENTY to hang from the ceilings (and then some extra)! There's a lot of bang for your buck in these bags.  

Now the room looks so festive and full of love, and I think it lightened up everyone's day! 

The streamers come in a great plastic sealed bag.

Each one has it's own plastic hook already attached, so no need to tape or pin the ceiling. We just used paper clips that were already in our ceiling boards to hang these from.

 They are made of quality card stock and are heavy duty, so I know these will be used over and over for several years to come!

Our ceilings are a little low, so we had to use the strings already hanging to lift them a bit.

Asani Hair Dryer with

Ionic Conditioning

Who even knows what ionic conditioning is?  

The difference between a traditional hair dryer and an ionic dryer is that the latter releases only negatively charged ions.  This helps your hair cuticles remain closed, allowing the inside of your hair to keeps its moisture.  Supposedly, this helps your hair be shiny and more healthy.

Whatever the claims are, I love this hair dryer.  I have always bought the cheapest available because it just blows hot air, right?  Well, yes, but there is more!   

First, I plug it in and of course I don't read the instruction manual, because it's a hair dryer, right?  Well, not a big deal, but I tried the warm (red) buttons and nothing happened.  I thought I got a dud, but then I tried the cool (blue) buttons and ta da!  Air!  

If you want warm air, then cool button needs to be on.  I actually like this option.  I'm used to choosing either warm (which basically means burn-your-scalp-hot) or cool.  Plus the added "hold down" cool button.  This also has that option for a quick cool burst (you can see it pictured below, top of the three buttons with a snowflake on it).  

The other thing I like is that it comes with two attachments for more concentrated blowing, allowing you to be able to get more lift from your roots.

I haven't found any cons yet that would make a difference in referring this to a friend, but it is heavier than my cheapies.  

Overall impressions:  If you are looking to up your game in the hair department, the Asani hair dryer is priced right (as of right now) at $35.99 on Amazon.
